Black -Bottom Cupcakes

Easy! but allow about an hour to complete

I dare ya to make these only once LOL!
remember what i said... i always change the recipes... depending on the wind
direction and
ferocity <g>... or is it the moon and its fullness... or the season or time of
the month or
whim or wit or...

makes 18 regular-sized cupcakes

In a small bowl, blend:
1 (softened) 8 oz block of cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
Stir in about 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips and put in fridge to chill while
making the rest of the recipe.

Preheat oven to 350.

In a large bowl, sift:
1 cup sugar
1.5 cups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
Stir in:
1 cup water (i use buttermilk <g>)
1/2 cup oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs

Pour into paper lined cups 1/2 full of cocoa mixture. Spoon cream cheese mixture
on top.
Here the recipe calls for you to sprinkle the top with chopped nuts... (i have
substituted more choco chips <bwg> cuz, like why not??? Last night was the first
time I
ever used nuts on any... and that's only cuz i had some of sue's pie nuts
sitting right

Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350. (shorter or cooler oven for dark pans)
